Slides are made in our Faridabad works in every common shape: straight, wave, curved, zigzag, tube and spiral, as single, double or triple lanes. Nagpal Engineering & Sports makes them as free-standing units with their own ladder and platform, and as parts of a multiplay system. Schools, play schools, parks, resorts and water parks across North India buy slides from us, and we install them on site.

Types of slides we make

  • Straight and plain slides: the simplest slide, good for small play areas and pre schools.
  • Wave slides: one, two or three bumps that slow the ride and add fun; available as double and triple wave slides.
  • Curve slides: a turn in the run so the slide fits along a boundary or corner.
  • Tube and zigzag slides: closed slides for older children, often fixed to a tower or platform.
  • Spiral slides: open or tube spirals that take less ground space for their height.
  • Double and triple lane slides: two or three children slide side by side, which cuts queues in busy parks.
  • Animal-themed slides: elephant, giraffe and other shapes for play schools and children's parks.

Materials and build quality

Slide beds are made in FRP or roto-moulded LLDPE with a smooth, glossy surface and raised side walls. Ladders, stairs and platforms are powder-coated steel with handrails, and the slide exit is shaped so children land on their feet.

Planning your playground slides

Choose the slide height by age group: about 4 ft for children aged 2 to 5, and 6 to 8 ft platforms for children aged 5 to 12. Taller slides need a longer run-out at the bottom and more clear space around the ladder. In hot regions, lighter colours and a shaded spot keep the slide surface cooler. Place soft flooring, such as rubber tiles, at the exit and under the ladder.

For children aged 2 to 5, a slide of about 4 ft with a short ladder and side rails is a safe choice. Taller slides with platforms suit children aged 5 to 12.

Any slide in direct sun gets warm. Lighter colours, a shaded location or a canopy over the platform help. LLDPE and FRP stay much cooler than steel slides.

With normal use and basic cleaning, our FRP and LLDPE slides stay in service for many years. Steel parts are powder coated to protect them from rust.
